Japan trademark registration materials:

1. Provide the applicant’s information:

To apply as a legal person, please provide the scanned copy of company license.

To apply as a natural person, please provide the scanned copy of personal ID.

2. JPO code

3. Provide the applicant’s name and address

4. Confirm the trademark name, pattern, category and subcategory.

5. If the right of priority is claimed, documents proving the right of priority and corresponding Japanese translation shall be provided.

Note: If the trademark is text only, there is no need to picture it. When the trademark is a design pattern, provide clear pictures of white background + black body if color is not specified, or provide color clear pictures if color is specified.

Japan trademark time dependent：

Duration of Application：8-10 months

Validity: 10 years
