4. How to choose the right Triman textile printing logo
Depending on the specific situation of the product, different symbols must be used on the classification information to indicate the product category and recycling location. So, while the whole chart may seem complicated at first glance, there are only a few different points, and once it's sorted out, it's not that difficult.
First, let's look at the categories of products
There are three different product categories, different product category symbols, these three symbols can be used alone or together. Sellers can choose according to the specific categories of their products.
Second, the choice of recycling mode
Sellers can choose 1-3 recycling methods according to their own commodity conditions. Note: Three recycling methods can be selected at most.
It should be noted that there are some differences in the printing requirements for recycling for textiles sold globally and only in France:
5. Where is the printing required? What are the requirements?
Act 2021-835 of June 29, 2021 does not specify which carrier the Triman label of textiles must be printed on. As a result, it can be printed directly on products, sewn labels or packaging. However, it is necessary to ensure that the Triman textile recycling logo can be clearly seen by consumers.
In our experience, labels are usually printed in the following places:
1. It can be printed on ingredient labels, hangtags, cardboard labels or products;
2, can be printed on the product packaging (bag, box, etc.);
3. It can be printed on other documents provided by the product (user guide, usage instructions, etc.);
4. You can use sticker labels on your shoes.
Example:
Some special cases:
Exception: cases where the triman logo is not clearly visible to consumers in a dematerialized format.
1) If the side of the product or its package is less than 10 square centimeters, and no other documents are provided in the product, there is no need to print labels;
2) If the surface area of the product or its packaging is between 10cm and 20cm, the Triman logo must appear on the product, but the icon of recycling information (product category + recycling method) may not appear.
E.g. Underwear (bra, thin underwear such as string, etc.)
In order to keep the triman sign free from other information, the ordinance also specifies that labels need to have tag protection. This space must remain empty and must not contain any elements that would interfere with the legibility of the triman classification information label. This area is used as a blank block when the background is disturbed.
The width of the protected area is determined by the width of the wire frame. The width of the protected area is twice the width of the line.
As shown in the figure below, the thickness of the wire frame =X; Width of protected area =2X.
❑ if several components of a product is affected by the different classification method, must carry on the separate label printing components one by one, in other words, need multiple triman logo printing.
Example: If a product needs a French packaging label as well as a textile label, the two labels are printed separately and do not interfere with each other.
