However, if the seller does sell WEEE regulated goods and does not find the entry that needs to upload the WEEE registration number in the corresponding category, it does not mean that there is no weee registration obligation. Amazon may open after the end of October.
Sellers who have registered German WEEE need to upload their registration numbers in the Amazon background to ensure that the products are sold in compliance.
Sellers who have not registered German WEEE should hurry to apply, or the relevant products will be forced to be removed from the shelves of Amazon starting from January 1, 2023.
WEEE is charged in accordance with the natural annual charge. No matter when it is registered in 2022, it will expire at the end of December, and the registration limitation needs 1-2 months. Therefore, it is suggested that the seller arrange registration immediately, so as to avoid the products being forced off the shelves because they are not registered in time.

First, upload the entrance
There are two ways to enter:
1) Log in to the homepage of Amazon background, there is a shortcut entry in [Need to take Action], and click "Please provide registration information" to enter the information filling page.
2) Go to the help page of Extended Producer Responsibility Requirements: Electrical and Electronic Equipment Waste Directive in Germany for links to compliance portals for each equipment type:
Here are two scenarios:
1. For registered WEEE sellers, there are two ways to confirm the registered equipment type and brand:
1) Input WEEE certificate number in EAR query website to query;
2. Whether the category of devices opened by amazon needs to be registered and enter the WEEE registration number, we can confirm in the following two ways:
1) If you click on the corresponding device category, it will show that it is not registered and has no brand association. There are two possible situations: 1. If the seller confirms that the product sold in the store does not belong to the electronic and electrical equipment products, it means that the seller does not have the associated brand selling this type of goods, and this device category does not need to register and upload the weee registration number. 2. If the seller confirms that the products sold in the store belong to electronic and electrical equipment, it means that the weee products sold by the seller have not entered the European brand for record in the European site. Amazon may open the uploading registration number of weee without brand record at the end of October, and the seller only needs to wait for the opening of the uploading interface if he has got the weee.
2) If you click the link of the corresponding equipment type to display the brand name and the box that needs to belong to the registration code of electrical and electronic waste Settings, the corresponding brand of this equipment type needs to register and upload the WEEE registration number because the brand of the corresponding product type of the seller has been registered as a European brand on the European site.
3. Enter the WEEE-Reg.-Nr registration code of the corresponding brand you have registered in the text box and click Submit.
1) If the uploaded registration code is registered with the corresponding brand type of your own store company, you do not need to check the options below;
2) If you upload the registration number of the upstream supplier, check the box below.
If you are selling items with multiple brands or electrical and electronic equipment types in your Amazon store
The Amazon backend does not have the ability to upload multiple electrical and electronic equipment scrap registration numbers in bulk, nor does it currently offer the ability to filter by brand or verification status. Therefore, you can refer to the following operations:
1) When there are multiple WEEE-Reg.-Nr. In the same category, repeat steps 2 to 3 above to fill in WEEe-reg.-NR. (Make sure that you have checked all pages, and a maximum of 5 records are displayed on each page);
2) Repeat Steps 1 to 3 for all types of devices that require WEEE-Reg.-Nr.
For example:
If you sell two types of electrical and electronic equipment, of which there are three brands, the seller will be opened in the two types of equipment, each type of equipment will have three brand registration numbers to enter, we will find the same type of equipment with different brands of weee certificate, WEEe-reg.-nr. It is the same. We need to make sure that the registration number of the three brands is filled in.
After completing the above steps, Amazon will verify every WEEE-Reg.-Nr. You can view the verification results on the Compliance portal page within a few days of submission.
After the registration number is uploaded and the status verified as valid, it is necessary to comply with the recycling requirements to be truly compliant.
Note: If you are selling items with multiple brands or electrical and electronic equipment types on your Amazon store, be sure that all brands and equipment types are registered with weee to avoid non-compliance resulting in removal of products.
